NILACHAL IRON & POWER LIMITED was incorporated in 2002 with the vision of becoming the largest integrated steel plant in Eastern India. Started with one DRI Kiln of 350 TPD production, we quickly moved to 550 TPD (180k MT per annum) production of DRI which is sold domestically and exported. We are 100% debt free company and all expansions are equity financed. With a strong team of 500 technicians, we are poised for growth with quality and customer satisfaction as our focus.

Our plant is currently based on 60-acre area with 110 acres under process of acquisition (30 acres GM Land approval received and caution money paid in process of registration and 80 acres private land with contract done with local villagers under process of acquisition)

Presently we are expanding our production and forward integrating our plant as below

- 12 MW WHRB Power plant to be commissioned by 31st March 2021 which will use the waste heat gas from our present 3 kilns ( 1x350 TPD and 2x 100 TPD)…

- Steel melting shop of 350 mts per day ( 115k MT per annum) capacity to be commissioned by 31st March 2021 which will be supported by above captive power plant.

- Rolling mill of 30 MT per hour ( 230k MT per annum) capacity to be commissioned by 30th September 2021 … ( All equipment ordered)

- 1x600 TPD kiln (annual production 200k MT) to be commissioned by 31st Dec 2021.. Foundation work completed and all major equipment ordered

- 1x600 TPD kiln (annual production 200k MT) to be commissioned by 30th June 2022.. Foundation work under process and all major equipment ordered

- 30 MW WHRB power plant to be commissioned y 30th June 2022.. All drawings approved and equipment ordering under process.

- Steel melting shop of 500 mts per day ( 165k MT per annum) capacity to be commissioned by 30th June 2022 which will be supported by above captive power plant.

- Railway Siding approval received and work to start soon.
